This week’s blunder isn’t something new. It’s something ignored.

We all know Greenland exists. Some of us recently learned it’s part of Denmark. Then a 2015 video resurfaces: Ted Cruz jokes that if we elect Trump, he’ll “nuke Denmark.” The cult laughed it off as absurd. It would never happen.
Now the cult laughs it off as absurd again—because apparently, we need Greenland.
People who do their own un-research understand. Everyone else just has TDS.
The real blunder is inaction.
A senator’s job is to rein in the executive branch. Greenland is low-hanging fruit: a political give-me, an on-ramp for reclaiming lost power. Trump is a cult of personality. His base will follow him like lemmings. I believe that. But at best, they’re about 30% of the population.
A real senator would have pushed back long ago. A senator waking up would use this as a wake-up call (at least pretending to wake up).
Here’s what rational Americans understand: we don’t need a 51st state. Not Greenland. Not Canada. Not Willy Wonka’s Wakanda. Oddly, many of those same rational folks support statehood for Puerto Rico—but they also read books, understand math, and believe in science. Go figure.
But Cotton? Too busy culture-war dancing, putting out fires with gasoline. And Boozeman? Snoozin’ at the wheel.
This isn’t just a policy difference. It’s political neglect.
